Childcare in canton VD

Canton Vaud has one of the most well-developed childcare systems in Switzerland. With the LAJE Act and the Fondation pour l'accueil de jour des enfants (FAJE), there is a uniform financing model. Employers contribute to costs through a fund. Rates are income-dependent and range from CHF 17 to CHF 133 per day.
